Our 'Ready To Heat' range of meals at De La Terre are exactly that.
We offer an ever changing seasonal menu of fantastic balanced food using a mix of fresh, seasonal, locally sourced and organic produce wherever possible.
Most our produce is bought from local farmers in the French Alps.
This ensures that we deliver delicious meals of restaurant quality that have no chemicals or preservatives directly to our clients self catered chalets and apartments.
By buying our produce locally we are supporting our local economy and reducing our food miles.
We also provide an exciting menu for vegetarians and also cater for dietary restrictions upon request.
Sample Menu
Caramelised Onion Tarts
A pastry base layered with caramelised onions and pears topped with local goats cheese baked in the oven until golden brown, served with a dollop of creme fraich.
Biscuit Topped Chicken Pie
Succulent corn fed chicken smothered in a creamy bacon & white wine sauce with fresh pan fried mushrooms and leeks seasoned with fresh cracked black pepper and finely chopped tarragon from the garden. Topped with a light & fluffy biscuit dough.
Served with wholegrain mustard mash & fresh carrots
Vegetarian Chocolate Chilli Con Carni
Seasonal vegetables are slow baked with kidney beans for 4-6 hours and seasoned with mild chilli, honey and dark chocolate to give this dish an earthy sweetness. Topped with creamy mash potatoes with turmeric & coriander.
Served with a crunchy fresh salad, home made nachos & fresh tomato salsa.
Tarte au Citron
A classic, french style baked tart, crisp golden pastry using locally churned butter with a creamy freshly squeezed lemon filling, hand finished with a dusting of icing sugar.
All our meals are individually priced in portions of 2 or 6 so you can tailor make your own menu. All side dishes are listed seperately
